The 2019 Toyota Sienna going into its latest model as the only minivan that offers all-wheel drive, a distinction for a long time. During that period, the Sienna has evolved into a superior carrier for families and their equipment, more practical than a crossover SUV or wagon. Can accommodate up to eight passengers, the Sienna interior is also flexible enough to handle anything from furniture to surfboards. The Sienna available in five trim levels to suit various budgets, tastes and demands. Its exterior design is more conservative than rivals like the Honda Odyssey or Chrysler Pacifica, but no one usually chooses a minivan for style.

The 2019 Toyota Sienna minivan comes in L, LE, SE, XLE and Limited trims. Depending on the trim and configuration, the Sienna seats either seven or eight passengers. The base 7-passenger L has tri-zone climate control, infotainment system with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay. The LE gets power-sliding side doors, easy-clean seating fabric, power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an upgraded infotainment setup.

Engine Specs

All 2019 Toyota Sienna minivan comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 296 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. It paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive as standard. All-wheel drive is optional on every trim level except the L. With either layout, the Toyota Sienna is rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds. The 2019 Toyota Sienna Limited Premium FWD made the 0 to 60 mph test in 7.4 seconds, quickest of any current minivan on the market.

Pricing Notes

The 2019 Toyota Sienna is on sale and arriving now at dealers nationwide. The L base model has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $32,160 (all prices include the $1,045 destination fee). The LE trim starts at $34,980 and the first model available with all-wheel drive for a $2,540. The FWD SE models start $39,160 and $40,665 for AWD variant. The XLE trim costs $38,310 for front-wheel drive, or $42,150 for all-wheel drive. The range-topping Sienna Limited starts at $45,055.
