2019 Range Rover Evoque Specs, Release Dates, Prices

Land Rover announced updates to the Range Rover Evoque for the 2019 model year, including a refreshed interface for the Land Rover InControl Touch Pro infotainment system as well as expanded color options for Landmark Edition models.

The bold exterior of the 2019 Range Rover Evoque features interpretations of classic Range Rover design cues, including the signature clamshell hood, floating roof and solid ‘wheel-at-each-corner’ stance. The dynamic design is accentuated by a dramatic rising beltline, a muscular shoulder line running the length of the car, and a distinctive taper to the floating roofline. Further, the bold design created by the exaggerated wedge of the window line is emphasized by the black pillars.

Pushing the wheels out to the four corners gives the Evoque a purposeful stance; the wheel arches are wide, but softly integrated into the body and the carefully sculpted corners dramatically reduce the SUV’s visual overhangs front and rear.

The stylish body exudes a strong sense of luxury with precise and striking details such as the hood and side vents. The Range Rover Evoque is available with adaptive LED headlamps, providing a jewel-like quality to the slim front and rear lamps with signature LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and tapering blade indicator clusters.

The front bumper features a muscular appearance dominated by the large lower air intakes, in addition to slimline LED fog lamps, positioned at the top of the intake – finished in Narvik Black for a striking stealth-like appearance.

Two grille designs are offered, available in three premium finishes, which integrate seamlessly with the recognizable LED headlamp signature. The standard grille is distinguished by two bold horizontal bars, while a geometric hexagonal design is available on the Landmark Edition, Dynamic models and Autobiography models.

The tailgate spoiler and high-level LED stoplight enhances the dynamic look. Additionally, roof fins added for vehicles specified with the available InControl Wi-Fi hotspot feature an integrated 4G antenna for optimum signal strength.

The exterior color palette features 13 available options for 2019. Colors include the Solid Palette: Fuji White and Narvik Black; the Metallic Palette: Yulong White, Indus Silver, Corris Grey, Santorini Black, Loire Blue, Firenze Red and Kaikoura Stone; the Premium Metallic Palette: Silicon Silver and Carpathian Grey; and the Special Palette: Phoenix Orange, exclusive to the Range Rover Evoque Convertible, and Moraine Blue, exclusive to the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition.

For 2019, the Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition expands from three to six available colors including Yulong White, Indus Silver, Corris Grey, Santorini Black, Firenze Red and Moraine Blue. Each color on this special edition model is complemented by an exclusive Carpathian Grey Contrast Roof.

Further enhancing the dramatic road presence of the Range Rover Evoque, HSE Dynamic models can be specified with the Black Design Package, which includes hood and tailgate lettering in Narvik Black, smoked finish head-, tail- and fog lights, and black five split spoke 20-inch alloy wheels. The front and rear tow-eye surround is painted in Narvik Black with the exhaust completing the visual upgrade in a dynamic black finish. The Range Rover Evoque features optional full-LED adaptive headlamps which are designed to automatically align with steering inputs and follow the curves in the road.

The 2019 Range Rover Evoque distinctive cabin is defined by premium quality materials, clean surface treatments, and the bold intersection between the solid horizontal elements of the instrument panel and the powerful vertical lines of the center console. The central focus is the infotainment screen, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen as standard or a 10-inch touchscreen when equipped with the optional Land Rover InControl Touch Pro system.

Luxurious front and rear seats in the Evoque retain high levels of comfort and support while also delivering a sporty, technical aesthetic to perfectly complement the progressive exterior design language. Two distinctive seat designs are available with four increasingly sophisticated levels of adjustment. This ranges from 12-way seat adjustment for both driver and passenger, to luxurious 14-way electric memory seats with four-way lumbar support, fully adjustable bolsters.

Bringing full-size luxury to the most compact Land Rover vehicle, the Range Rover Evoque is available with massage front seats for additional comfort and a truly luxurious experience. Massage seats are specified in conjunction with cooled 14-way electric memory seats as standard on the Autobiography. A selection of five massage programs can be selected, controlled via the central touchscreen.

Interior door casings in both the front and rear of the vehicle echo the striking seat design, with a clean, contemporary feel; the armrests have a lean, taut appearance, with sharp contour lines and extra feature stitch lines adding crisp definition. Meanwhile, soft-touch, deeply-padded luxurious surfaces maximize the door casing’s exceptional tactility.

The interior in the Evoque is enhanced by a portfolio of ambient lighting packages. In HSE Dynamic and Autobiography models, this culminates in customer configurable 10-color interior mood lighting that includes UltraViolet, Amberglow and Racing Red. Lighting coverage throughout the cabin comes courtesy of full length lighting under all armrests and door storage areas front and rear. Drivers simply tailor the lighting to their own preferences via the touchscreen. A stealth mode is available to reduce cabin illumination to a minimum, if desired.

The 2019 Range Rover Evoque shape and comparatively compact footprint doesn’t leave much room for cargo. There’s a hatchback-size 20.3 cubic feet of space behind the rear seatbacks and the maximum volume of 51 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

A 237hp Ingenium gas engine paired to a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission generates 251 lb.-ft. of torque and is standard in all body styles of the 2019 Range Rover Evoque. EPA fuel economy estimates are 25 mpg combined (22 city/29 highway). A higher output 286hp Ingenium gas engine, available with 5-Door HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trims only, generates 295 lb.-ft. of torque, helping to 3 accelerate the Evoque from 0-60mph in 6.0 seconds (0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds) and on to a top speed of 144mph. EPA fuel economy estimates are 24 mpg combined (21 city/29 highway).

The engines feature electrohydraulic control of the inlet valves. This cutting-edge technology enables variable valve lift, so load control is managed primarily by the intake valves rather than the throttle. This reduces pumping losses and provides unmatched flexibility and control over airflow into the combustion chambers, improving power and torque while reducing emissions.

In addition, a new 2,000 bar direct injection system, which features centrally mounted injectors with an optimized spray pattern helps improve fuel combustion, further improves power delivery and reduces emissions.

The 2019 Range Rover Evoque has always been as outstanding to drive off-road as on it, with up to a 23.2 degree approach angle, 22 degree breakover angle, and 33 departure angle (with standard body kit), a wading depth of 19.7in (500mm), and a suite of advanced all-terrain technologies. The Evoque continues to deliver the all-terrain capability that is a hallmark of the Land Rover brand in a variety of conditions, making use of a unique suite of technologies to enhance performance and composure on- and off-road.

The primary technology is Terrain Response , which adapts the responses of the vehicle’s engine, gearbox, transfer box and braking/stability systems to match the demands of the terrain, optimizing driveability and comfort as well as maximizing traction. The Range Rover Evoque has four Terrain Response settings, selected via a control on the center console: General Driving (on-road and light off-road); Grass/Gravel/Snow (slippery conditions, on- and off-road); Mud and Ruts; Sand; and Dynamic.

All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) enhances the capability of the four-wheel-drive chassis with signature Terrain Response technology.
