The 2019 Lincoln MKC is the most affordable luxury compact crossover SUV in the Lincoln lineup. After suffering at the bottom of the buyer’s shopping list, Lincoln enjoyed a recent success. Attention to detail, many standard features, comfort and styling make the MKC worth considering.

The 2019 Lincoln MKC is available in Premiere, Select, Reserve and Black Label trim levels. If this sounds a little old-fashioned, don’t worry. There are advanced safety technologies on offer, features like Active Park Assist handles most parallel parking actions, there are also things like smartphone integration as well as all-wheel drive.

Every 2019 Lincoln MKC is well-equipped. Even the base Premiere trim has rear parking sensors, a powered tailgate, active noise control, driver seat memory settings, heated front seats, reclining rear seats, rearview camera, Wi-Fi, two USB ports, and satellite radio. The MKC Select replaces leatherette and aluminum cabin trim with Bridge of Weir leather and premium wood, while adding power-folding side mirrors, 10-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and ambient lighting. Engine Specs

Under the hood, the 2019 Lincoln MKC offers two turbocharged 4-cylinder engines. The base engine is a 2.0-liter producing 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive available as an option. The upgrade is a 2.3-liter engine good for 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. It’s available only on Select, Reserve and Black Label trims and come standard with all-wheel drive. Both engines is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that comes with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. In track testing, the 2019 Lincoln MKC 2.3T AWD went from zero to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. When equipped with the optional Trailer Tow Package, the MKC can tow up to 3,000 pounds.

The 2019 Lincoln MKC is on sale and arriving now at dealers nationwide. It has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting from $34,920 (include a $925 destination fee) for the base Premiere trim. The Select start at $37,920 and the Reserve cost $41,550. The MKC Black Label begins at $48,125. All-wheel drive costs approximately $2,500.
