2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Review, Release Dates, Prices

Versatile, powerful and spacious, the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe remains one of the most capable and recommended full-size SUVs. Unlike most sedan-based crossover SUVs, the Tahoe uses truck-based body-on-frame construction. Of course, it trades fuel efficiency and some of the comfort from crossover SUVs, but it allows the Tahoe to pull up to 8,600 pounds, ideal for trailers, boats and other recreational toys. The Tahoe also stands apart from crossover SUVs, with a standard V8 engine and optional 4WD system that provides low-range gearing for adventurers. With prices from almost $50,000 to over $70,000, the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe does not come cheap, but is almost similar as competitors such as the Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, and its company sibling, the GMC Yukon.

FAST FACT

Chevrolet Tahoe was named Best Full-size SUV/Crossover in Kelley Blue Book’s 2018 5-Year Cost to Own Awards.
