2019 BMW X6 M Specs, Release Dates, Prices

The 2019 BMW X6 M is a high-performance version of the standard X6. The X6 M stands where the xDrive50i ends, tweaking the turbocharged V8 engine to create 567 horsepower. The result is a high-end SUV that does 0 to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds. While getting additional power, the X6 also gets the BMW M division treatment that designs the chassis, all-wheel-drive system, transmission and other components for the highest performance. Just like the standard X6, this M version blends a coupe-like body with the ride height and enhanced cargo capacity of an SUV.

The 2019 BMW X6 M is a high-performance midsize luxury SUV offered in a single trim level. Like any BMW, the 2019 X6 M is well equipped. Apart from all its performance upgrades, it has blind spot detection, a hands-free tailgate, speed limit info, 4-zone climate control, a high-end leather interior, 18-way-power front seats, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay, the latest iDrive 6.0 system, navigation and 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Also standard is Active Driving Assistant, which bundle frontal collision warning, lane departure warning, pedestrian warning with city mitigation and braking. BMW Ultimate Care, a complimentary maintenance program that is good for three years or 36,000 miles.

Engine Specs

Under the hood, the 2019 BMW X6 M remains to use a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that produces 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Power sent to all four wheels via BMW tuned xDrive all-wheel-drive system along with the 8-speed automatic transmission. Ironically, the X6 M features with an engine start/stop feature that cut the engine power at idle in order to saves fuel. If you find the restarts rough or annoying, the system can be disabled. BMW estimates the X6 M can rush from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, which is very impressive.
