2019 BMW M5 Specs, Release Dates, Prices

The 2019 BMW M5 proves there is still a lot of hope for a high-performance sedan, thanks largely to its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 600 hp. Supported by the standard all-wheel drive, this 6th generation German luxury sedan flows the power down quietly as it hits 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph. For serious drivers who are looking for a serious sensation, the 2019 BMW M5 can be turned into a rear-drive mode that allows burnouts and other shenanigans. The new Competition version and its aggressively tuned suspension, firmer engine mounts and 617 horsepower make it the most powerful M5 model ever sold by BMW.

The 2019 BMW M5 comes in two version: standard and Competition. Apart from all its performance upgrades, you’ll get dual-zone automatic climate control, head-up display, heated steering wheel and front seats, 20-way-power front seats, extended Merino leather upholstery, universal garage remote and power-operated trunk. Safety features include a frontal-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitoring. The M5 Competition comes with a special M Sport exhaust system that produces an extremely distinctive sound.
