2019 Acura TLX Specs, Release Dates, Prices

The 2019 Acura TLX is offered in four package options: base, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance. In base form, the comes with a moonroof, universal garage-door opener, keyless entry with push-button start, dual-zone auto climate control, heated and power-operated front seats. The standard infotainment system includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, Bluetooth streaming and a 7-speaker AM/FM/CD/Satellite radio.

Every 2019 Acura TLX also get the robust AcuraWatch safety and driver-assist system that bundles forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and lane-departure warning. Another convenient feature is the automatic brake hold, which automatically applies the brake at stoplights so you can rest your foot.

Engine Specs

The 2019 Acura TLX is available with two engine option. The base comes with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 206 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. Its backed by an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive only. The TLX 3.5L models are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 good for 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. Its connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission with Acura Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) available as an option. In track testing, the 2019 Acura TLX 3.5L SH-AWD A-Spec went to 60 mph from zero is 6.2 seconds, a bit slower than some competitor.

Pricing Notes

The 2019 Acura TLX is on sale and arriving now at dealers nationwide. The base 4-cylinder model has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting just under $34,000. The V6-powered TLX starts just over $37,000. Optional packages can raise these prices by a thousand dollars. The new TLX 2.4 A-Spec package, for example, starts just over $40,000. A fully loaded TLX V6 SH-AWD tops out around $47,000.
