Set to make its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Alfa celebrates its centenary, the Giulietta will cost from £16,995 to £24,495 when it goes on sale in the summer.
Buyers will have the choice of three petrol engines, the 1.4 TB 120bhp starts at £16,995, the mid-range 1.4 TB MultiAir 170bhp kicks off at£19,495, and range-topping 1750 TBi 235bhp model costs £24,495. Two diesel units will be offered, a £17,895 105bhp 1.6-litre 105bhp and £21,195 170-bhp 2.0-litre.
The regular range comprises three exotically titled trim levels – Turismo, Lusso and Veloce – as well as the top-spec Cloverleaf model. Standard equipment bests that of the Ford Focus and includes air conditioning, electric front and rear windows, a stop-start system and six airbags.
